ARE OUTDOOR BLINDS EASY TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN?
Since they are designed to hide away out of sight when not in use, the amount of cleaning and maintenance required is minor when compared to traditional fixed outdoor blinds.
We would advise to clean your outdoor screens every six months and a minimum to eliminate small dust particles on the blind material.
We also recommend that you clean Motorised outdoor blinds with mild detergent and water.
CAN OUTDOOR BLINDS BE USED IN HIGH WIND AREAS?
If you do live in an area that is susceptible to high winds or coastal areas, make sure you buy quality outdoor blinds.
While we would highly recommend retracting outdoor blinds in strong winds as there is less chance of tears and/ or stretching of the blind material in high quality, well-installed blinds when compared to their cheaper counterparts.
DO OUTDOOR BLINDS KEEP MOSQUITOS OUT?
Depending on what material you decide on – yes! The holes in our mesh are very small and protect against most insects including annoying mosquitoes.
For the best bug protection, especially from sand flies and midges, you need to choose an all solid, non-mesh fabrics, will keep all insect types out, including flies regardless of size.
